Anne Bryant

Storyteller, public speaker, writer, photographer, and videographer based in Brooklin, Maine and traveling everywhere.

Telling stories about people, with their passions firmly front and foremost, is the key to conveying the importance of any project. I make clients comfortable in front of my lens, and am able to clearly convey technical concepts to both beginner and expert audiences.

Public Speaking

Humor, experience, a welcoming voice for beginners and a seasoned sailor to keep it interesting for old salts. I can speak with authority on a number of topics, and I love to host/moderate panel discussions, trivia events, tours, and more.

I seek to delight audiences with humor and to make sure they feel like their time was well spent by offering practical takeaways and stories that universally resonate. I'm candid and humble; I make guests shine and give sponsors a reason to come back with their financial support again and again. Whether in person or online, I'm a warm and friendly presenter your audiences will remember.

Organizing events is another speciality—from my experience in all types of media, both online and in print, I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve that ensure audiences are excited by invitations and that they follow up with their time and attention. Read here about Arabella's launch in Mattapoisett, which saw about 1,500 in attendance.

Some Speaking and Hosting Examples
She Sailor Sea Story: Organized by the National Women's Sailing Association, these occasional events stream online. I have hosted a few times but have also been a storyteller. Visit the page here.

Stories from the Stage: I was chosen to step in last minute with a story about work that was broadcast on WORLD channel and GBH Boston. Here's my story and here's my interview.

Traditional Small Craft Association, North Shore Chapter: I was asked to talk on any topic I’d like, so I told the story about how I came to be on the water because someone actively reached out to invite me there. “REACHING OUT” included concrete examples about how the TSCA might invite younger members into the fold, as I’ve heard them lament a membership that skews older, and I think they have so much to offer people of all ages and most levels of interest.

I'm particularly proud to have hosted an online panel discussion with Tracy Edwards, MBE and s/v MAIDEN crew in an effort to raise funds for girls' education programs.
